Game of the Year in the state, IMO. You won't find two better teams facing each other in any class the rest of the regular season. Having seen both already, this has the makings of a classic.

Both offensive units are VERY impressive and can score a lot of points. Male seems to be a little more focused on airing it out, while Trinity has made a living running it down their opponents throats. Both teams can move the ball either way though.

I think the offenses are pretty equal. I'm giving Trinity the edge on defense, because I think their schedule has been significantly more stingy so far. I saw Male play Ballard, and the Bruins just aren't that good, so it's hard for me to get a good judge on their defense.

I'm taking Trinity 38-35.

Voting purely from the heart...Trinity by at least 1 over Male.

The only outcome(s) that would surprise me is either team getting blown out. This is a pick 'em for sure.

Got to go with the Bulldogs. Dogs have won 3 of last 4 match ups, losing last year in playoffs by one score to state champs. If Wakefield is still a no go (probably still not ready with high ankle sprain???). Dogs might Be short on offense; however, Coach Wolfe is a defensive guru that will out-scheme many high powered programs. Scott Co.'s Wing T in 2013 Championship game might be a rare exception that comes to mine.

Agree this game could be a Classic, with a potential repeat in the playoffs.

WAR THE FIRST ONE DON'T MATTER#PLAYOFFS

I'll take T by 14 they are balanced on O and have a better D and special teams!

On a neutral turf, I would give it to Trinity. AT Maxwell field it is a toss up.

Trinity by 10

This should be a good scrimmage. One that matters is still a ways off. :thumb:

Trinity is game tested versus much tougher opponents. The offensive and defensive lines play very well together. The QB revealed he can throw the deep ball last night. The Trinity running backs offer a terrific one-two punch. The Trinity receiver corps are deep and talented. The linebackers are nasty. Trinity 35-14. I predict Wakefield does not play for the Dawgs. Male will save him for district play and the playoffs.

The all-time series versus Male is 21 - 15 - 2 in favor of Trinity.
