People weren't in agreement with Bluegrasspreps when they had Male ranked number one in the preseason, who disagrees now? Trinity has beaten some great teams in this young season, but Male proved to be too much. Can Trinity overcome a huge deficit to win in a rematch in a few short months? Scott County took a loss to a strong opponent, but they did compete well and proved they are ready for the teams above them. Simon Kenton, like it or not, is one of the strongest Class 6A teams, who is going to dispute that? Are some privately worried about what the Pioneers are capable of? St. Xavier drops. PRP has a huge task this week, taking on a Trinity team that was exposed last week, are they going to feel the wrath of the Rocks? What's a "Lift for Life Charter" School? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

Ryle is undefeated correct? They have played a good schedule. I say Ryle.

Male really needed that big win. The Bulldog schedule was leaving a lot to be desired. Great job in taking care of business by dominating at home. Male's biggest concern going in to the season was replacing Mattingly. Shelton has proven to be more than capable as seen in the Hoover Select 7on7 up until now.

 

Sucks to be PRP this week. T will definitely be out to prove something and we will see what kind of competition PRP can provide. This is a big game because PRP still has to play Manual, Male, and St. X.

 

X and Highlands should be a great matchup this week!

I am interested to see how Cooper competes with SK. Without doubt, SK is one of the top 5 teams in 6A this year. Cooper's toughest competition to date has been Bryan Station. Station played a really good game and Cooper laid a big fat egg (literally if you look at the scoreboard :lol2:)

 

Cooper has the talent and ability to make it a good game. The question is: Will they be able to? Will be fun to find out on Friday. Hopefully, Cooper comes to play with a little more swagger than what they did in Lexington 10 days ago!

 

Am also interested in the Trinity/PRP game, as well as Scott County/Lafayette game. Can PRP take advantage of what Male put out there on film? And can Lafayette's D1 prospects make it a game against a heavy favorite Scott County team. Pretty good match-ups in 6A this week!!

X and Highlands should be a great matchup this week!

 

I am pulling for this to be a good game. I would like to see these two programs get back on track. I would like to see HHS win for the 5A pride but have a soft spot for X from having enjoyed the fanbase from playing them the last 5 years. So Ill just hope for a strong outing by both that all can enjoy watching.

I think strength of schedule is hurting Manual at this point. Their signature win is a 10 point win over 5A Fern Creek. Fern Creek is a good team, but I don't they are the level of Male and Trinity.

I am a Ryle fan so my heart says Ryle. But I was just wondering why two BGP rankings would have have them flip flopped.

Trinity and Scott County need to take a back seat to SK!!!! Both their defenses gave up to many points!!!
