Agree with Oweh's performance...but at no point should UK go on a scoring drought and he doesn't get the ball with the intent on driving. Not sure how many attempts Oweh had in the scoring drought...but he has to demand the ball when UK has gone 2/3 trips with no basket IMO.

This was Bad. No excuse for allowing all the offensive rebounds. Most of those seemed like UK was a step slow or that UNC wanted it more! I don't think Pope is adjusting to having more slasher type players instead of spot up shooters...He has to get Oweh down hill... He is also not adjusting well to a non passing Big guy. Moreno has a lot of upside, but he is no Williams on the high post.

Mitch knows he is retiring soon ? I think UK football was in a situation where they had to go outside the box. I think it's a good gamble...but only time will tell. UK football is in desperate need of energy...hopefully we get a young staff full of that...!

When the news came out that UK was firing Stoops, I was one who thought we may have waited too long and missed the opportunity to get a quality replacement. Less than 24 hours later, UK had their man (Will Stein) signed sealed and delivered. The Stein hire is classic Barnhart...he seems to swing the pendulum with each major hire and bringing in a young offensive minded coach is definitely a pendulum swing. As for Barnhart, as a whole, I think he has been a great AD for ALL SPORTS and great ambassador for UK. I questioned him Monday morning, but I applaud him now. One can question his contract negotiation skills, but at the time he signed the contracts for both CAL and Stoops, they were among the hottest coaches in the land, and thus you have to not only pay them accordingly, you also have to "sweeten" the deals with no buy out incentives, lifetime contract talk etc... A lot of those contract deals are relegated in recruiting and thus the Hot Coach sometimes holds the cards. While Mitch has gotten his share of critism lately, I think he made the right call all away around with the way he handled the football situation. Blast away!

UK should have dropped U of L and picked up Cincy the last couple years.

What about Neal Brown? Offensive guy, who knows ball. Understands the landscape as well as anyone. WVU and UK have many of the same issues and he won there (somewhat). If I am a hot shot coordinator, I would steer clear of UK at this point. There is a good chance the AD who hires you will be leaving sooner than later... I think Neal would be a solid choice (not the flashy homerun) he would have been leaving Troy...but someone who is still young and has been there and done that with the experience to show for it.

If I am in Boley's camp, there is no way I sign or take anything that keeps him from opening his options for next year, given the uncertainty of the UK coaching landscape.

I think he will definitely test the free agent waters.

What about taking everyone in the states top 8 RPI games...? That cover out of state games, 6 team districts, take some pressure off the scheduling circus that RPI creates.

Find me a school system in the state that Does NOT have an operating budget in the millions.

Most school systems are multi million dollar enterprises with large operating budgets. A few hundred bucks to pay clock operators isn't going to break the bank. I also understand this isn't how school administrators always look at extra curricular activities (which is unfortunate). However, the expense and not being able to find someone to run the clocks should be a moot point. If no one volunteers...pay them!

Tuned in after UT game and Cats were up 10-7 with the ball. They scored on 2 straight plays...unfortunately it was for SC. Down 21-10 and it was time to watch UGA and Alabama. I can't help but think Stoops would rather see his legacy somewhat preserved and take a little less on the buyout...If not this marriage ends very ugly!
