Fair. Would it be worth it though to lose an extra home playoff game?
-
The whole Ohio thing is tough for the Birds. Unfortunately, there is no "you played really well against a quality school" bump for their RPI against Elder. I have been pretty outspoken about this...but I would stop scheduling Ohio teams forever...or at least until something is changed in regards to RPI.

This came up on Twitter feed. Probably something to note in terms of streaming. I'll update when I know more.

From my knowledge, I don't believe that (859)radio will be at the game....and HHS might be charging for this one. Similar to the setup in the playoffs last year. I don't know this for 100% just yet, so I'll pass along once I hear for sure. This is one I'll gladly pay for.

If you know me then you know this post is coming. I'm giving flowers to the young sophomore Gavin Wagner for going out for his first radio game being Highlands/Covington Catholic. I mean come on, it takes some guts to do that for game #1. Some may know that the sports on Highlands radio is my baby, and I was worried that after nobody wanted to do it for softball or baseball it may be dying. He did a fantastic job, and the future is bright for that young man and the station in my eyes.

It's ASU swim vs Texas Tech. 6pm Arizona time. There's a long story about active students not being able to do ESPN+ that I won't get into in a Highlands/Cov Cath thread. I believe I am one of (if not the) the first active students in the building to be on ESPN+. Should be fun.

Sorry...just now catching up on this (making my ESPN+ debut tomorrow, I've been busy lol). Though, I've been excited. Gavin Wagner WILL be on bluebirdsradio.com tomorrow, and is excited to broadcast the game. He's just a sophomore, so I'm excited that the radio has some life. Can't wait to hear a Birds win 😉

I am excited to be back in the Fort for a weekend...wish the game to watch would be a little better. I can say with 100% certainty there will be an FT Film and Broadcast stream this weekend. I can also say with the same certainty that this won't be very close. Go HHS!

Birds D-line with another fantastic play.
-
The Boyle defense looks helpless right now. This is the Armstrong we all wanted to see...the team looks extremely confident at the moment.
-
I hope others will join me in watching this feed. I'll always be impressed that FT gets kids to do this year in and year out.
-
For streaming questions...I know there were discussions I heard about this game being a PPV from the HHS side. I don't know this for sure, so I can't give a link yet. I will update ASAP. But one I will gladly pay for...I am excited and have some serious FOMO for this one.

Give me Manual. Douglass was way too undisciplined against Highlands, and the Bluebirds did not make them pay nearly enough.

After some great help from @Hungover_in_Andover , I am happy to say that bluebirdsradio.com will be a go from Fredrick Douglass. Excited to be back doing Highlands football again on the radio. Kickoff in Lexington at 7:30.
