  1. They had one on Oct. 7th vs. Grant County.
  2. Scott had a couple of fumbles in their own territory that gave great field position in the first half to NCC. A long 4th down pass by NCC was tipped by a Scott player and caught by a NCC reciever for a touchdown. NCC was the better team, but Scott gave NCC too many gifts and dug themselves into too big of a hole to ever get into the game.
  3. Scott (9 game schedule) 8/26 Holmes 9/2 Taylor OH 9/9 @ Newport 9/16 @ Franklin County 9/26 Cooper * 10/7 @ Grant Cty * 10/14 South Oldham * 10/21 @ Conner * 10/28 Brossart * District
  4. Can someone provide some background?
  5. I might be mistaken, but I think that in Kenton County you have to be an assistant principal for a certain amount of time before being considered for principal. Does anyone know if this is the case?
  6. Good to see Cameron Haynes back in the lineup for Scott.
  7. Ryle 62 Scott 59.... Game marred by tons of fouls on both sides.
  8. Pike seemed to miss alot of easy layups early on.
  9. Then maybe they should schedule them.
  10. Wasn't at the game tonight, but I'm hearing that Scott frosh beat Beechwood. Can anyone confirm that or have a score?
  11. Would say Grant County for sure, not sure about who else.
  12. This year's Scott squad will be a relatively young team that will have to grow up in a hurry. The schedule will be difficult with hosting district heavyweights Highlands and Covington Catholic while visiting Dixie. Scott will also be on the road against 6A teams Simon Kenton, Conner, and a rapidly improving Cooper. Rounding out the Scott schedule will be Holmes, Bellevue, Harrison County, and Lloyd. This season will also mark the opening of the new Scott Eagles football stadium. While the stadium is still under construction, the field is complete and looks fantastic.
  13. The new field is in place and looks beautiful. Massive Eagle on the 50 yard line and SCOTT in one endzone and EAGLES in the other. The Press box structure is up but it doesn't appear that much is done on the internal part of the structure. The track still needs to be installed. The stands haven't begun yet, but the foundation support is in place. Hopefully, everything will be ready to go for opening night, week 3 of the season vs. Bellevue on September 10th.
  14. Tragic... Prayers go out to his family and friends.
  15. Everything appears to be running on schedule. I will try to start posting pictures of the construction.
  16. The cost of producing these shows are relatively cheap. The station is ranked 32 out of 36 of stations in the greater Cincinnati area, barely showing any statistics for measurements, so I doubt the cost of buying air time can't be much of a factor. With this deal you not only get Independence and south Kenton county, but also large school opponents from Cincinnati, Boone, Kenton, and Campbell County as well as potential audiences. This seems like another nice step for the Pioneer program and I wish them well and look forward to the program.
