I couldn't agree more. Coach Carr definently made the right moves at the right times tonight. Great game and a great atmosphere! Scott struggled from the free throw line tonight but was still able to hang on for a tough victory. I belive Scott was 10 for 22ish from the line???? Its hard to believe they hung on and won this game with a stat like that. Congratulations to both teams on a great game.

Scott is much better than their record shows. They have really only been out of two games in there losses and both of those were to Henry Clay. The rest of the games could have gone either way and this team just has not been able to put it together to finish off several of these teams. You had better respect them because they can play! The 3rd biggest loss they have had was to Dixie. The rest of the losses wasn't decided until really the final minute or seconds.

 

With that said, I def. would call this an upset tonight. Dixie has a solid team and was undefeated.

Dixie was ranked #1 in the 9th Region and undefeated and had previously beat Scott before Christmas so I think it would qualify as an upset. Dixie is a solid team and I still think they are the team to beat in the 9th.

 

Kellen Smith scored his 1000th career point in this game but he must have had close to a triple double with rebounds and assists. He also did a good job matching up with Hatton on the defensive end.

Scott did everything they needed to do tonight to get the victory... Kellen missed both freethrows with about 8 seconds left?, then Dixie came down and hit the 3 to tie at the end of regulation... OT normally goes to the Home team, I'm glad Scott was able to pull.

Watched Scott play in a couple games in LexCath Republic Bank Classic and one game you would say WOW and the next game you might say Phew!
