No advantage here to Scott, Dixie has the same good fortune.

The Colonels had plenty of oppurtunities to come back and win this game. It was a poor display for the Dixie Colonels imo. It appeared until about two minutes left in the fourth quarter that there was zero momentum by Dixie. They were definately not in synch tonight. Hopefully the Colonels will learn from this loss. With that being said, Congrats to the Scott Eagles for clinching the win. Their fan turnout was great, and their boys came to play tonight.

Dixie started out cold from the field and Pike picks up his second foul halfway through the first period and sits untill the third. Roberts was able to take advantage inside. That combined with the guard play of Smith and Haynes was huge for the Eagles. Great game with the Eagles holding on in overtime. Congrats tro coach Carr on the win.

First off, congrats to the Eagles on the upset...they played very well and got the job done.

 

Dixie came out ice cold with 5 first quarter points...down 13 at the half after a banked in 3 pointer at the buzzer.

 

They had to deal with some foul adversity as I believe Pike played less than half the game and Stansberry sat a good portion of the second half.

 

It was a good night to pick off Dixie imo as they didn't look mentally there....it was going to happen sooner or later and the Eagles always play well at home.

 

They'll be fine...just need to get this one out of the system and move on.

Maybe SK wore Dixie out on Monday in a tough game and Dixie, in turn, did the same to Scott for SK on Friday night. :

 

Anybody have the shooting percentages for Dixie? Hatton deferr to his team mates and not take over the game or was Kellen too much on the defensive end?

Congrats to Kellen Smith for scoring his 1000+ points. There shouldn't be a person out there that is surprised that Dixie lost a game finally. Scott matched up very well with them and had already lost to them once. It appears Coach Carr had figured it out. Congrats Eagles.
