I may be mistaken, but I thought I heard the froshmore 'league' is gone.

I asked one of the Cooper players and I was told that the player that got in at the end of the game (that the student section was chanting to get in the game) was a player that was severely hurt during his sophomore year. They said it was a long comeback trail and he never missed a practice during the time period.

It has been a rough 24 hour period to be an Eagle fan.

Game went to OT. Scott up by 2 points with .9 seconds on the clock. Amazingly, with that much time Cooper gets the rebound and makes the shot to tie the game. Cooper pulled awat in OT.

Good to see Schneider back in the lineup for Scott. He has been really missed for Scott.

Clark County at Scott was cancelled due to weather. 3 of the last 4 are at home.

The officiating was some of the worst I have ever seen.

I think it is fantastic. It gives me the opportunity to check out two playoff games this week.

Great game! The lead changed several times in the 4th quarter. Scott was inside the 10 yard line at the end of the game as time expired.

I think it is a combination of the offense scoring so quickly and leaving defense on the field so much and the defensive lineman not being that good.

I'm all for playing a tougher schedule and I like that they are playing Scott County, but on week 10?

Coach Campbell will still be actively involved with the program. Woodland is on the same campus as Scott. From what I have heard, he will be helping on game nights from the booth.

I think they have an excellent shot at a winning season this year.

I'm not making 'excuses' for anyone. I've lived through alot of horrible years at Scott, including an amazing 34 game losing streak in the early 1990's. I just think Coach Campbell handled the transition very well and kept the team intact. He has been building this young team and grooming them along. If the payoff is that the team has the first winning record this year in 22 years, I would have to say that it is a positive thing for the program.

Coach Campbell did an excellent job of holding the team together through a really tough period. Two seasons ago summer practices and half the games were at Dixie. Finding any kind of practice space at Scott that season was difficult. Last summer the kids had to lift weights for most of the summer with camping lights as there was no electricty or water in the old Eagles nest. This winter the kids had to lift weights in a cramped garage with portable heaters. The new facilites opened up a couple of months ago and are incredible and the stadium is the best in Northern Kentucky. The team on the field this year will be one of the best in quite a few years. The schedule should provide the Eagles a good shot at having a winning season and should make the playoffs again.

Not overly complaining about the location. Part of the charm of HS sports is seeing different venues and towns. It just seems like the late game so far away on a school night is a bit much. Friday night or all day Saturday would have been much more desireable, especially for the first round games.

Not overly wild about a 100+ mile trip on a school night. Scott playing a 730 game will put them home very late.

Going to be a good matchup. I'll take Scott in a low scoring game, 44-40.

KHSAA website has this game at Scott on Jan 7th at 6PM. Is this correct?
