I know Scott lost their point guard from last year, Kellen Smith. Who will be point guard be for this year? They also lost their shooting guard, Cameron Haynes. If I am not mistaken at least 4 of the starting five, were all seniors. Is this a rebuilding year for Scott? I know they have a strong junior class coming in. But other than that, I am not sure. The only senior that I am aware of this year that is playing is Brad Morrison. Are there any other seniors playing basketball this year for Scott?

Scott will have the Jackson boy back and he should carry the load. Carr always has good shooting teams who play pesky defense. I wouldnt expect anything less. I would say they could make a run at the wide open Region. However, they have a very tough District with CC and Brossart.

Who do you see coming out of that district?

Tough call this early. Carr and Code get the most out of their talent but CC has McGovney and he could have a breakout year carrying the Camels. My pre season pick would be Brossart. Saunders is a mule and will have a huge year and they have size and some decent experience coming back. PG spot might be questionable for them. I would think it would be Uebel but he is a little bit undersized and lacks Varsity experience. He could have grown though and gotten stronger, hes a nice ballhandler who can kill you if left open. Maybe Stang can get us up to speed on him. Although this is a possible threadjack. lol

I know that Scott is well coached and they always play hard. I always dread playing them come regional tourney time. Believe we have played them in the regional the last 4 or 5 years.

2 words about Scott that will always make them a formidable district/region contender..... "Brad Carr". Nough said!

As for Brossart, Uebel's size isn't any concern.... In fact, this summer he appeared to add some height (5' 9 - 5'10) and will most likely fit in as their PG. He's a heady court general and a threat to score. Look for CC to make it a tough 3-way race in the district. It will definitely be a fun, exciting year of hoops and I'm sure Scott will be in the thick of things come February.

Scott plays very hard, they are very fundamental, and get in your shorts. The Eagles take on the personality of their great Coach!

Scott may surprise this year. A little more talent than most think, a hard working group, unselfish and a great coach that will get the most out of each player. A great recipe for success.

Always enjoy satching them play. Agree, they always play hard. Best of luck to them this year.

Coach Carr is top notch in my book!

They have a couple of Seniors that are pretty tough kids and have some experiance. Coaches are very excited about this junior class this year. They all can score the basketball and that JR class is deep. They have Eric Pouncy who will be probably running the show with Sophmore Josh Cassleman backing him up. Nick Jackson and Haydon Grazianni who quit the team last year is back with the team and he stands 6'6 but needs some meat on his bones. This is a very solid group that will score alot of points.

Haven't seen much of them, losing most starters, who is expected to be the stud on this team?

Brad Morrison, Nick Jackson, or Eric Pouncy. One of those players will breakout and lead this team.
