Final.

Was this a playoff game? Congrats to Scott.

Maybe there's a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Congrats to Scott!

This one is a head-scratcher.

Congrats to Scott!

Not really. Scott had been dominant all season

Except when they play schools closer to there enrollment.

This was the N. Ky. Freshman Division 2 championship. Congrats to Scott!! This freshman class has size and talent. I look for them to bring some success to the Scott program on the varsity level.

Congrats to Scott and to Newcath on great seasons and a great game. I don't think it's fair to bring out the "closer to their enrollment" card. I don't know if the Scott freshman program has won 10 games in the last 8 years, where as Newcath has been dominate for a long time, with the exception of a bad season 5 or 6 years ago. I have no problems with Scott playing down this year, and apparently the coaches association had no problems with it either. If it's cool with them, it should be cool with all of us. It's nice to see a program, that's trying to establish winning ways, have some success.

Not sure if its true or not but I was told yesterday that this Freshman team has won more games this year than the previous 5 years collectively.

Great job Eagles!!

Agreed. I remember 4 years ago at our Freshman game Scott only had 8-9 in uniform on the sideline during the game. Very thin numbers that year. Congratulations to them on their year!

Rumor has it that 4 or 5 of the top players are considering transferring to a city school in Campbell County !

Ok I was just kidding...

Congratulations to Scott, I hope this starts something special for folks in Taylor Mill!

I take it royalblue81 hasn't seen those boys play this season; figures he's an sk guy. Nearly every opponent they played had the same amount of players or more and Scott still won. Note: They crushed Beechwood (another winning program) 34-7 and Beechwood has beat teams from the other division as well. Great job EAGLES!!!

While it is nice that they did win you cannot dismiss the fact that they are playing teams 3-4 classes smaller than them. I agree that if it is ok with the coaches association then we should not have a problem with it. BUT lets not get carreid away into thinking this is going to translate into varsity wins against the larger schools...................I hope it does build some confidence so that they have a winning attitude...............

And wins over Beechwood and NCC are good wins regardless of class size!!!!!
