I have allot of respect for Coach Schneider, but I have to agree with Old Bird on this one. He gets the pick of the litter out of Campbell Cty and has won 2 state championships. Mike Yeagle gets the pick of the litter from Ft.Mitchell and has accomplished more in terms of Championships and for the most part out coached NCC often. If Yeagle coachs again and Mueller stays as along as Schneider has been at NCC, they could catch him in wins, have less losses and have way more championships. Now with that said Bob is still a good coach and has done well for himself.

#12 Brown was the difference in this one, he is very tallented running and passing. Good luck in the playoffs. As for the eight Holmes seniors who played there last game as Bulldogs, Thanks for the memories and good luck in the future. Special thoughts for my boy Duran, I hope your recovery goes well and I am glad that I got to watch you play the last three years. Good luck at UK my friend.

Finally someone got it right, It took a while, but this is exactly the spin I have on the situation. Nothing in the article says they were told not to give blood and just maybe all they were thinking about at that given time was helping someone in need. This coach needs to get a grip on reality, I don't think by them giving blood on Monday would effect the game on Friday or their ability's. And to punish a player for missing practice when you send them home, Sorry coach it doesn't work that way. As a Father of three I would much rather my kids follow in these kids foot steps, than the coach.

I will give it a try for NKY. 1. Jordan Kramer / Highlands - 1964 all purpose yardage and his 25 TD's lead NKY and the Cincy area. 2. Cory Farris / Boone - 1646 all purpose yardage and 16 TD's 3. Scott Gray / Ryle - 992 all purpose yardage and 14 TD's, On D he has 2 sacks, 43 tackles, 1 forced/recovered fumble and 3 int. 4. Justin Young / Holmes - 121 Tackles, 6 Forced fumbles and 1 int 5. Sam Flynn / CCH - 133 Tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles I have a number 6. James Miller / Holmes that deserves honorable mention, this kid plays all out. He only had 935 all purpose rushing yards, but scored 18 TD's and is second in NKY in that catergory. He has also passed for a TD. These are only my oppions, There are many other great players in NKY and they also deserve praise! Dawg

Trust me he will bulk up before he steps on the field, He is not much smaller that Brandent Engleman was his senior year and he is now chissiled. He has plenty of time to gain weight and mucle he will probably red shirt any way.

Chris Jackson and James "Meegie" from Holmes a few years back could lay the wood.

I went to the Holmes- Highlands Freshman game, Collinsworth's son only got the ball three times. ( 3TD'S ) He and #31 look real good.

Terrance Clark, Mike Sharp were out on the oline. Thomas Benton played both ways. Brayon, Rashad, and one other player were injured in the game.

The bottom line is Dixie's o-line and d-line dominated the line of scrimmage and had very short fields to work with because of poor punting, turnover or penalties. Dixie got the job done and put Holmes away in the second half. Good luck to the Red Colonels as they march to the playoffs.

I don't make excuses for losses and as I said in the prediction thread special teams and turnovers would be one of the determining factors. Holmes averaged starting field position was somewhere around their own 25-30 yard line. On the other hand there was at leat 4-5 or five drives where the colonels started inside Holmes territory, Inside Holmes 30 three times and inside the 50 two more times. Dixie worked with a short field all night, my hats off to the colonels they got it done tonight. There D is tough and should help them win some playoff games. Holmes was missing two o-lineman, they lost Palmer in the game, they lost one inside d-tackle, their d-end played both ways all night, Duran came in with a badly bruised back and Dixie took every advantage of a holmes miscue's and won fair and square. Holmes is not a deep enough team to lose 7 starters in two weeks and replace them with equal players. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year, we both have two tough games left.

I like the list, but HC should be in the top ten and Holmes would probably be 11 on my list. My Oppion may change if the dawgs come out of Edgewood with a W on Friday.

I have to agree with ColonelCrazy on this one.

Nice breakdown, I think Scott has the ability to not only play with Conner but may come out with a W. Scott needs to dig down deep, play with some passion and just move the chains. Against Holmes last week it they tried all or nothing plays, instead of taking what the defense may have given them. If they can stay out of the 3rd and long plays, Scott wins a close one in Taylor Mill.

Agreed, I think SK comes to play. In the end Ryle pulls out the W.

HC should have know problem in this one, but thats why they play the game on Friday nights. I think Ludlow stays somewhat close until the second half, before HC pulls away.

I am not sure I can predict a score in this one, but I think Dale rests his starters somewhere around the two minute mark in the second quarter.
