Long time no see brother man. I have been in mourning since your colonels knocked off my dawgs in the region tourney. Football season is just over the horizon though. :thumb:

Since Holmes coached the East team last year I know for a fact that Dixie is in the east. You are correct my man, Preston got the MVP for the east and I believe Stellman for the west. I would have liked to have seen more Holmes players at this years game, but with all of the injuries and all I guess that won't be the case. Good luck to Roberts and German though.

He doesn't even really care for the QB position, he would rather play WR and DB on deffence. He is the QB at Holmes because he's the best athlete for the job. If he played WR and had a stud QB throwing to him, he would be one of the top three receivers in the state IMO. I would have to guess that UK would still be a front runner over WKU. Look at it this way, would you want to play in the SEC and be on national TV at times. Or go to WKU and be lucky if the game is tellivised in their home city. UK has so much more to offer in my oppion, I know his mother really well and her & coach T will help DJ make the right choice for him.

X and T will have good teams as always. I look for Dixie and Boone to be good in NKY 4A. Just might be a upset this year of one of the teams from the ville. Should be another fun year in 4A.

Austin will be on the football field because he is smart enough to know not to put all his eggs in one basket. Austin is to good of a football player to give it up his senior year.

Ludlow is probably extatic to be out of the 35th, they actually have a chance to go to the region year in and year out. I am happy for them.

Yea I am pretty sure Brossart isn't afraid of any of those teams. They are all capable of losing on any given night.

You are wrong, I am very close to the pregram and there is no chemistry problem here brother. Just because they have a little bickering doesn't amount to anything. The bottom line is Holmes has enough weapons to win this game and win the region. Your one game observation holds no water.

I think Holmes's struggles are over, they know there roles now and are ready for the regionals. These kids believe they can repeat and go to state. They are out to prove a point.

Thoughts and Predictions??? I think this game could go either way, I think Holmes is back on track and will win or lose this one by no more than 3 points. It all depends on the inside play for Holmes, Terence Clark and Josh Nelson are starting to figure out their roles on the team with Rice's departure. This should be another classic match up between these two.

I'm sorry but Holmes can beat either one of these teams. So to answer your question, no it is not. The Championship will have to be earned and the defending 9th region champs will not go down without a fight. Be careful when you approach a cornered dawg you might just get bit.

Good win for Holmes, Congrats to the Tigers on a good year. This was a very poor offiated game imo, there were some very questionable calls in this game. The refs did a good job of keeping this one close. Not to take anything away from Beechwood though, they played a good second half and had Holmes on the ropes. Holmes showed poise tonight and they were to strong for the Tigers. Holmes may miss Rice, but our big men are starting to come around.

Considering the newspaper and the news stations won't consider PC in the Coach of the Year voting for NKY. I will follow suit and give my vote to Coach Goetz. He has done alot more with less returning talent than the others. I would however vote for Coach Biggs for COY in the 10th Region.
