2nd round (five team district). Conner beat Heritage in the first round. The other 2nd round game is Boone/Rye at 8:30 tonight.

Congrats to Coach Hicks, he's a good coach, but don't read too much into this one. St. Henry had lost six of there last seven by an average of 12 pts coming into the tournament. Conner, 10 of there last 12 by 14+ per. Not exactly on a roll.

From where they started, that's a good roll and an indication of solid improvement at the Conner time of the year.

Ryle won the second game. Conner will now play the Raiders for the District championship Friday night at St Henry District High School Friday night at 7:00.

Ryle actually was #2 because we beat Boone both times and Conner in our only matchup during the season. Conner was #4 but no surprise in seeing them advance to the finals. Coach Hicks always seems to have his teams playing well at tourney time. Any thoughts on the St. Henry/Conner game tonight? It sounds like it was a good one.
