I like Jefferson and hopes he ends up at UK if that is where he wants to go, but saying he is a poor man's Vince Young surprises me. I thought he would end up on the defensive side of the ball?

Duran will either play DB or WR in college depending on where the coach needs him.

I didn't see the "poor man's VY" quote but he's either a DB or a WR at the next level.

I was told he was offered by WKU today to play QB, that may sway him to WKU.

He doesn't even really care for the QB position, he would rather play WR and DB on deffence. He is the QB at Holmes because he's the best athlete for the job. If he played WR and had a stud QB throwing to him, he would be one of the top three receivers in the state IMO. I would have to guess that UK would still be a front runner over WKU. Look at it this way, would you want to play in the SEC and be on national TV at times. Or go to WKU and be lucky if the game is tellivised in their home city. UK has so much more to offer in my oppion, I know his mother really well and her & coach T will help DJ make the right choice for him.

Uk is definetly higher up on DJ's list than WKU...like you said, its the SEC and big time televised games...I know Duran is excited about playing the competition of the SEC, so Kentucky would have to be a favorite..but I know Duran wants to wait til the beginning of his senior year to commit so he can wait and see what other offers he gets

Scout is reporting that the UK staff was at Holmes yesterday to meet with Coach Trosper and Jefferson. How close Is Jefferson to giving a verbal to UK?

Duran was down here with some other recruits for the spring game.
