John Hardin has two sophmores that start in skill postions: RB/LB Elias Camper-Kid will be special, very few can catch him in the open field. QB/DB Tim Marcum- Alot of upside, intensity and leadership skills are hard to come by in young men. Playing in 4a it is a little harder for sophmores to make a different, due to the level of talent. These two kids seem to be headed in the right direction under the watchful eye of head coach Mark Brown.

I would of like John to have played South oldham, needed to work some of the bugs out on both sides of the ball. Meade scares me because of the pass and John's D line is little banged up. If it rains that could be the equalizer for Meade, because it will slow down John's backfield. Meade can not match John's speed or depth. Playing at Meade, John comes off the bus 14 points down also. If John stops the pass this game will not be as close as thought, if not Meade wins a easy one. John 21 Meade 20

Easy Pro- I would like to agree with you, but John could be easily 4-0 or 3-1 with the lone lost to Owensboro. Beginning this week with the game against South Oldham, will set the table for district play. Knowing that you have picked North to win the district (no team in the district is going to walk away with it). This is more than likely the weakest district in 4a football if not it is not far from it. John is close to putting the pieces together this year, special teams being the number one concern, have to handle punts and get more out of the kicking game. Bottom line come Oct 27 John will be the district champs. GO DAWGS!!!!!:ylsuper:

I saw your QB play two years ago, wow, thought 2a football for the next few years would run through Corbin. If Apollo over looks John they will be in for a long night. Remember it is not how you start the season, but the adjustments made during the season. John made changes to the Defensive line against Owensboro, which to be honest shut down there offense. For a team ranked #6 in the state and at home I was not impress with the team as a whole. There Defense plays with alot of heart and for being undersized hit a ton. John will need to open up the Offense a little at a time. Coach called a conservative game against Owenboro, but he did not put his young QB in any bad situations. I think the Defense will continue to improve with the Offensive opening things up, which will allow John to run the ball more effectively. As the season progresses John will rise to the top of there district and possiblily win it with the injury to North's QB. John 28 Apollo 14

Easy- John will need to do more than just a modification on the D front, stopping the run will lead to passing. This is where John has some short comings, and at this point its not looking good in the D backfield. The backs just don't seem to have football smarts at this point in the season. The next two weeks will be pivotal for John's young D, if they return to E-town with a 3-1 record there is hope on returning to the regional championship game.
