Where do I start: Opening drive, start at the JH 20 go 79 yards fumble into the endzone X gets the ball on 20, took 8 mins off the clock. Both teams feeling each other out durning the first half 7-7 score at the half. Second half X uses there large line and great field position to build an 14 point lead. John (D.J.) blocks a punt, John first an goal from the 3, score 21-14. Johns D steps up again an forces X to turn the ball over on downs on the John 30 with 50 seconds left. Long pass down field, complete first and goal, score 21-20. John goes for 2, pass incomplete, went through the hands of the John reciever. Congrats to the X fans and team welled played ball game, hated to see the John team lose, but I think it will be to the state champs. Congrats to this site for giving me the opportunity to shout out about the John Hardin Bulldogs, had some great threads. Next year maybe I'll have more to Jaw about the dogs. Until then Dawg out!!!

St X best us 21-20 John Hardin went for two the pass was incomplete with 11 seconds left. D.J. had 12 tackles 3 for loss, blocked a punt with 7 mins. left which started the John come back. Mr Beaumont is an unbelievible football player I wistness his greatness last weekend at John Hardin. If anyone thinks other wise, they don't know football. I know we play X and Vic Anderson tonight, but I can't see any back do more than Beaumont. Besides that my son plays for JH and said he was all business on the field no trash talking. Watching form the stands i agree with my son Beaumont is the best back we seen this year.

On paper X should win this game going away, thank God we play the game instead of looking at numbers. This game will be decided by special team play and turnovers. JH has proven that nerves will not be a factor and they can win the close games. JH has nothing to lose but ever thing to gain, they will be loose and well prepared for X. I see this game going deep into the 4th qt. and JH pulling out a narrow victory with the home crowd behind them. GO DAWGS!!!!! JH 28 X 24

Mark Brown (John Hardin 11-1) 4A In five years he has taken a program that didn't exist. Now they will be playing for the regional title against St. X. on 18 November. No matter the outcome of this game John Hardin is no longer under the radar. They have won two play off games, which the team was the underdog (PRP and Male). Brown is not only a football coach, but also mentors his staff and the kids that play for him. 11-1 might not impress most around the state, Brown deserves the credit for sticking with and believeing in kids that are not the biggest or fastest. Go Dawgs!!!!!

Agree the atmosphere will be what high school football is all about. Hope u get a seat, if not u will still have great time.

Just make sure you bring a towel for all the crying X will do.

There is advanced ticket sales at JH don't know about X, they are adding seating to the endzones. With the additional seating should seat around 3,500.

DJ stats while at John Hardin Jr year 2004 97 tackles 7 sacks (All Area Linebacker, finished second to Bradon Derick for Defensive player of the year, honorable mention 3rd team all state.) Sr. year 2005 131 tackles, 24 tackles for lost, 12 sacks district defensive player of the week 4 times during the season. Plays St X for region title Still gives the Corbin system for making him a Linebacker with attitude

1. Agree X has played the harder schudule. 2. JH has pulled there starters early in the 3rd qt most games, not in the playoffs. 3. JH offensive starters played on ave. 2 1/2 qt most games. 4. For the most part injury free. 5. X has much larger line on both sides, JH linebackers and secondary is the strenght of the defense because of speed and intelligence. JH offensive backfield is loaded anyone could go on the way on any given down.

We where pulling for the hounds, hoping both would make it to the state.

X might have the size, but as far as senior leadership, JH seniors would be hard to beat. These kids live in the same neightborhoods, they hang out together, there not one of them whom thinks they are better than the kid on the bench. I do agree Senior leadership will win this game for JH, the love the fact that X is coming to there house. If memory serves me right when we played X 2 yrs ago, the officiating was one sided for X. I see by pervious post that the JH PA man has ruffle some feathers, if I remember right last year up at Male there PA was pulling for his team. Sorry that the PA man (Good Guy) by the way, upset the Male fans.

Lman, hope your wrong this week also, but I like the ideal of the underdog being at home. The house was rocking last week, never seen it like that before, exspect the same this week.

Its playoff time you can throw out what the teams have done, it is what they do on Friday Night, quess what anything can happen and usally does. If you are a football fan don't miss this game, will be a good one. Go Bulldogs that is John Hardin Bulldogs!!!

Stephen Cook - Corbin Stephen was on his way to being one of Corbin's all-time greats before he suffered a severe leg injury during the playoffs his junior season. Agree Mr Cook was well on his way to being the best back in the start that year. Now plays OSL for Cumberland College.
