Im sure most of you all will go against JH as you did last week against PRP. But this week im with you guys:

I think Male's playoff experience will be the key that helps them bring home the win.

This could be a closer game than expected after what they did to a TOUGH PRP team.

 

But Male won't be ready to lose this one.

There is no doubt that John Hardin will come out and give Male all they want.

Coach Bobby Redman and his team remembers that embarrasing 2nd round road loss last year in Hardin Co. and won't let his team overlook the Bulldogs from Hardin Co.. Male is playing some of their best football of the season right now and will be hard to stop. Beaumont and Anderson will be to much for JH. JH will give Male all it has in this one.

I pick Male in this one.....I think the margin of victory will be based on who scores first. If JH scores first they will gain valuable confidence that they can win.....If Male scores first and fast JH will fold and it could get out of hand....The paper today had JH acting as if they have no chance..happy to have just one their 1st game....An early score by the bulldogs will justify that belief.

St. X versus Male will be a good rematch. Can't wait to see it.

John Hardin has a solid defense, but they haven't seen a team with so many weapons on offense (rushing and passing). Male has the highest scoring offense in 4A. JH relies on the run to make their offense go (almost 3/4 of their yardage is on the ground) which tends to favor Male's defense.

Mark Brown is a good coach. I think you're see a little Lou Holtz style gamesmanship. I bet JH fights until the end, no matter who scores first.

 

With this being a road game (thankfully not too far from Louisville), I'm not taking for granted that Male/St X v2.0 is a foregone conclusion. Both teams are facing challenging opponents. Heck, it could be Manual/John Hardin v1.0!

I'll check with the crystal ball later in the week, but I don't think Johnny Hardin has seen the like of Bobby Redman this year.

This will be a very close game. JH has a very strong running game and can control the clock and the tempo. Male's defense is susceptible to giving up several long runs a game, and if JH can break a few tackles they can put enough points on the board to win. JH's coach won a state championship at Nelson Co and he will have them ready to play. However, I see a great play by Beaumont at the end of the game pulling it out for Male.

This should be a great game for the first three quarters with Male pulling away at the end. JH gives it their all, but they don't have the athletes to knock off Male...but you never know.
