  1. Haven't these two teams played once already this year?
  2. I'll agree with the consistency but in Jacobs case, there's plenty of other scorers (though not as prolific) to get the job done when he may have an off night. Are there any other scoring threats at Scott?
  3. Not exactly something to be proud of. It's called an out of control temper.
  4. Howard doesn't belong in front of Vories, Jacobs, or Romes in my opinion. He'd by my #5 on that list.
  5. Tierney won't be starting, for what it's worth.
  6. Has the new system of some girls games being played on Friday proved to be successful?
  7. Exactly what I was going to say, NEERFAN. I was very unimpressed with OJ and Walker last night. Both very lazy. OJ is a great passer. Walker can dunk, doesn't rebound or play D.
  8. No way Mike Young is 6"5. Noll is 6"5. Schult is probably 6"4. Regardles, none of them were physical enough.
  9. While the rebounding mismatch was embarassing, height (in this case) shouldn't really be looked at as a factor. CCH was a taller team but the height advantage wasn't that drastic. Young is probably 6''3, Schult probably about the same (which I would think is about average height for two high school big men these days). However it was Elder's physicality that owned the boards.
  10. DoggyDawg....if mid-major is worst scenario, then what is the scenario that Jefferson will most likely be looking at in your opinion? What types of schools?
  11. Just about to say that NEERFAN...Jefferson has a bit to do before he can play major D1.
  12. Just out of curiosity, is this kid related to Nate Kadetz who graduated from SHDHS in '05?
  13. In regards to the PIT being a tough place to play, I would say...football, YES...basketball, NO. From the games that I've seen CCH play there the atmosphere was rather dull with more CCH support than Elder. I'm sure it's totally different for GCL games but it was nothing to write home about when I was there.
  14. cshs, I wish you would have the correct amount of REVERENCE to page through a dictionary before talking about a legend. :ylsuper:
  15. In terms of CCH, BFritz, I know Spradlin is looking at some schools like Dayton, Morehead, and some smaller schools as well. I think he's seeing where he can get some PT on a solid team. I think McGee is in the same boat. I've also heard that Roch is looking at the possibility of walking on somewhere
  16. Would Yeagle take a job as a coordinator? With the resume he's built, I would think he has every right to expect a head coaching job. In terms of 4A though, my understanding is that alot of places are happy with their coaches (Stellman, Spritzky....etc).
  17. Ellison should get it. I know it gets old but it's the truth: Diehl didn't play the competition that Ellison did, not to mention the fact that Diehl didn't do anything against Ellison's squad. Also, in my opinion, Ellison is simply the better of the two.
  18. The faces would probably be rather apathetic considering the 42 point victory. Also, I don't see NCC stacking up against LexCath or Trinity. However, that is a moot point, congrats to the Breds.
  19. Sour grapes....no. I find it rather creative and if a bunch of high schoolers can't take a rival school's students taking shots as harmless as that at them, they shouldn't be playing football. You go to every NKY high school and ask them the school that they dislike more than any others, you're gonna get CCH at least 75% of the time.
  20. Not to be too much of a CCH apologist but...Mcgee second team? No. Castenada not on the list? Please. Hudson second team? No thanks. Also, I would have to believe that Boone's Farris is a first team player, not second.
  21. Burke is the real deal...bottom line. While I wouldn't define it as being "elitist" I do agree that there is a false belief across the state that 4A football is the best...top to bottom 3A plays the best football, in my opinion.
  22. Sounds like a great game....however, I have a very hard time believing two things: a)That St. X. is the best team in D1 Ohio and b) They are a nationally ranked team. From what I saw of them and the points that they put up, they have a very average offense.
