If I'm President Todd, Fischer has already been expelled. Anyone who tries to defend this by saying it was political in nature or no different than the Palin incident is blind. Yes, both were despicable. However, a noose is a blatantly racial symbol due to its disgusting history. One thing President Todd has really been preaching the past few years is campus diversity. He has made great strides in various forms. However, if he lets an incident like this go without Fischer being punished, he has no credibility in trying to create campus diversity.

What a clown. I stood up for him early in the season but his play of late and these comments are inexcusable. GT hit the nail on the head. Newton and Mossakowski are licking their chops right now.

Not running good routes comes from inexperience...there were at least 5 true freshman getting serious PT at WR. You can't have that and expect to win. However, floating EVERY ball you throw is something that should have been fixed at this point in the season. I've defended Hartline for most of the season but here's the bottom line: Cobb moves the offense better. Floating balls in the SEC gets you picked every game.

This schedule, albeit unintentionally, is set up very nicely for Hartline. He managed this game, didn't make any big mistakes and got the W. The next 3 weeks, if I'm Joker, I let him air it out a bit and get comfortable throwing some downfield passes. The young WRs are good. I believe Roark, McCaskill, Cobb (stud), and Lanxter all had catches today. The next 3 games give them some great chances to get very comfortable with the offense before rolling into the vicious SEC. The O-Line must improve so the Cats can utilize the plethora of RBs.

Brossart needs to get his act together.

Farris has the best chance to play early in the OF at UK in my opinion. With the loss of Cowgill and Farrell and Wiley being a senior, there will be playing time available. Off the top of my head, Neiko Johnson is probably slotted as the starter at 2B for the Cats this year.

GT, you may have some insight on this question I've been wondering about: Why is there such a difference in the way that Scout and Rivals rank Newton? It's not too uncommon for the two services to maybe rank a player one star different than the other. But Newton is a 5 star with Rivals and 3 star with Scout...what gives?
