CCH has won the last 2 meetings by a combined score of 78-19. Will this one be any closer?

Based on last years talent returning for CCH, and that Boone is historically a slow starter, I'd say CCH wins by a score similar to the scrimmage score against Ryle.

Cov. Catholic in my opinion wins in a grinder 21-6

A lot will depend on the health and well being of CCH. I would expect Pete Sutton to be back this week. I think Geisen will suit up. Not sure about the o-line folks and that by itself would be a concern.

I agree cshs81. CovCath needs to recover from the flu bug that hit the team hard last week.

 

An injury to Farris in the Boone/Beechwood scrimmage would prove to be a difference maker in what the outcome of this game will be. The thread on that scrimmage noted that he was injured, to what extent it didn't say. Someone at the CCH/Glen Este scrimmage said they thought he had suffered some broken ribs. I CANNOT confirm whether this is true or not.

Both the starting o-linemen that were out should be back. Andy Schulte will be back for sure. All he had was the same virus everyone else had and will be fine to play and practice all week. Dan Heath, the other O-linemen that was out had injured his shoulder and will most likely be able to play but it will be with a shoulder brace under his pads.

Covcath is one team that I enjoyed watching last year because of their unusual offense and their big playmakers. Boone and other teams as well may have trouble controlling all of Rodenbergs offensive weapons. Cov Cath is returning too many starters for Boone to contain. Covcath 43-14

I dont think that boone will be able to cover all of the threats produced by the WR. 42-17 CCH

Interesting thought. Does CCH underachieve during the season or do they just play a brutal schedule that results in losses to very good teams?
