Boone County at Covington Catholic

I think changing the time of the game for weather is a joke. This is football. Play at whatever time the game was originally scheduled.

So you are going out on a limb and predicting either a tight Boone win or a big CovCath win.

Don't know which one because of the illnesses/injuries affecting the Glen Este scrimmage and that's all I have to go on. Generally don't make predictions based on no real knowledge. If CovCath doesn't stop the power game (and I can't begin to guess based on what I observed because of the illness/injury situation), I think Boone can pull it out. Keep your players healthy and injury free and it will make my predicting job much easier:ylsuper:

Well if you want to make that point with the KHSAA and get them to change their rules on playing over the legal heat index feel free to do so, but until then I'd rather do whatever you have to to get the game in.

Tell that to Henderson County. Too many kids have died to write off weather any longer.

Believe me "free thinker" is just ought to stir up trouble..I don't think he even post's unless he thinks he has a chance of rattling someone cage or stirring the pot so to speak. :irked:

Thanks for the info. I was a little suprised by the comment.

Interesting note passed onto me by TheOldGuy. CCH plays every one of its games on turf this season. He asked if I thought that was the first time any KY school would have had that occur and I'd have to say "yes."

Didn't realize that there was a KHSAA rule about the heat index. Good move by the decision makers to still get the game in.

After being out early this morning, let me say its a good idea to have this game at 11:00.
