  1. Game 1 = OT @ Holmes Game 2 = OT @ Holmes Anyone else feel home court advantage helps for 1 point?? Game 3 = CCH by 4 @ Conner
  2. True, But at the same time when you lose you Sr leader, Starting PG for 2 years and have to leave the team in a first year starter's hands. It makes a difference. No Bondick does not score 30 or take over the game but he controls the floor and the rest of the team better than any other player can. Senior leadership is so important in HS and College basketball.
  3. I think the Colonels come out hot and beat the team from Ft. Thomas by 10+. The regular season game is no indication to this game. CCH was not playing good ball and without their SR leader and PG Bondick. This game is a complete turnaround from last one and the Colonels win by double d's.
  4. From being in a student section at Rupp sitting behind the basket you will have the students in the same section but yes they will be lower as it is stadium seating. Most student sections will be standing all game so your view may be impaired by this.
  5. I think all CCH fans would hope that would be the case. At the same time you have to look at it and see that CovCath has lost 2 games with Bondick in the lineup. Both to Mason Co. (CCH was winning when Bondo went down) I think with the help of Chris controlling the game the colonels win and move on to play Holmes! Colonels by double digits.
  6. I think the chances of Coach L leaving by his own choice my never come. Eventually he will step down as head coach but going to a different school I find hard. Having him in class it is obvious that CCH is where he wants to be not only as a coach but as a teacher. Many people think that he is all about coaching but his heart is also very much in betting the lives of the youth of the Cov Cath community. Coach L is a great guy and IMO I think the family and tradition at CCH will keep him here for as long as they will allow.
  7. Go TIGERS!!! Being a CCH fan i would much rather face Beechwood than Holy Cross IMO.
  8. I agree with Flotsam. His point is very true. Yes Cov Cath lost 3 region games in a row and blew a big lead at Scott Co. Those games were played without the #1 PG (senior) who no doubt helped the colonels. When Bondick is on the floor is seems like the game has much more control. And for the 3 region losses the first one was the day after the funeral of a lost member of CCH's family and as mentioned before they took Holmes to OT without there senior PG. I think they will show people what kind of team they are come the region and the Colonels will be representing the 9th at Rupp!
  9. A step in the right direction. Even though they lost to Holmes, they seemed to have played better than they had VS the team from Ft.Thomas and BC.
  10. Any thoughts? I think the Colonels showed some "up" in their game Vs Holmes and will win this game by 10+.
  11. Actually this game had allot riding on it. The winner is the #1 seed in the district. That is nice knowing you get to play the #4 team.
