"If it weren't for the way the last three years were handled, it might never have happened. I would have never left. I just thought it was time for Beechwood to make a change." Monday he said that he was promised an opportunity to interview for a teaching job in the spring, but was never given that opportunity. "I knew then that my days at Beechwood were numbered," Yeagle said. Beechwood principal Glen Miller said Yeagle couldn't interview for a teaching job because none was open. STRIKE3
Don't know any specifics but sometimes Administrators and Coaches, drift in different directions for whatever reason...this sounds like the case. I wish both Coach Yeagle and Beechwood, good luck.
SuperB
If this is true then the principals job could be his before long.
All Play No Work
I think it is safe to say that this is/was just "the tip of the iceberg" and nothing is new here. I think everyone should heed the quote from the Junior DB/RB in the article. "We've got to move on. We have to go forward. That's all we can do now." NamecipS
I would like to see him take a 4A job in NKY. Are any open?
Dlbdonn
It's a shame . Seems that the administration has little if any gratitude for all that he did for the school over the years. Ncc can always use good teachers . What does he teach?
Da-Man
I hear that... Just think if he could work is magic at someplace like Conner, Boone County, or Dixie etc.... I would like to see him take a 4A job in NKY. Are any open?
Sandman32
I hear that... Just think if he could work is magic at someplace like Conner, Boone County, or Dixie etc.... No 4A jobs open officially, though unoffically, some schools may be interested in talking with him.

cshs81
I'd guess very few of us know what exactly has transpired over the last 3 or so years with Coach Y and the administration. Thus, I think its premature and shortsighted to immediately assume the administration somehow screwed up. Just because you're one of the top coaches does not mean that you're a top candidate to teach. Its the admin's job to put the best teachers in place. If for some reason they thought that Coach Y is not right for the overall student body, then I have no problem with that. I have no clue what issues Coach Y is battling/has battled. However, I'm assuming they were not insignificant due to him stepping down from teaching and taking a year off from coaching. You just don't walk away unless its serious. Stego
I hear that... Just think if he could work is magic at someplace like Conner, Boone County, or Dixie etc.... Magic is a little tougher to work in a public 4A school.
75center
I agree, good post cshs81. The administrations responsibilities certainly go much farther than the football team. Still, I sure wish he would have finished his career at Beechwood.
JOHNDUNHOFT
I know a nice 4A school that is looking for a Offensive Coordinator could that be a possibility for Coach Yeagle? JD
