  1. Does anyone know who the final canidates were? How many interviews etc?
  2. What is he going to red shirt too? Is this a legitiment move? Not exactly a short commute from Boyd.
  3. It is a no win situation, they would not be honest in a survey anyway unless it was anonymous. If you have a bad season, there will be grumbling. If you think Highlands, or St. X (just 2 ex) goes 3-7 next year, that there would not be some rumblings? Just the world we live in as coaches.
  4. Prayers for all involved!
  5. It is no slight to be the 3rd best back at the state championship! Even 2nd best player on his team. The Roller kid at LB was a stud.
  6. I don't think he is those things yet. I saw two running backs better saturday, Boyle's and Lex Chr.
  7. Great season to you stick1,you have a lot to be proud of with those boys from Lawrence Co.
  8. Wasn't Johnson the back up QB a Senior? I thought he played well, other than the fumble on the center exchange.
  9. I feel he is the best coach in the 8th region! Gets the most out of his teams.
  10. I guess they just play with those 4 Linebackers. 4 vs 11
  11. Just have 2 safeties and many of those other games could have been won by Male, but we know what happened.
  12. I am pulling for LC- in my opionin that staff should win coaches of the year. From 0-11 to this! Great job Salmons and company.
  13. I have not seen them play this year. What kind of defensive scheme do they run?
  14. Central looked very human in this one. Hills could have won this game, went for 2 while they had a 7 point lead, dropped a td in the end zone and had Curry matched up on a speedy Robinson at the end. Those were key plays, that hurt them along the way. Central played without King and Patterson both out for the season. So to answer the question yes-they are beatable. The one dominant part of their game was their ability to run the option.
  15. Probably should be then, how many did they have last year? Add Patterson and Bolden that is 5, not to mention King could play somewhere. I know of coaches that get 1 or 2 in a career and still win games.
  16. I think Hills do a good job with what they have. I think Scroggins does a good job to, but 4-5 or D1 players makes coaching a lot easier.
  17. I think the coaching will favor- Hills.
  18. I like W-hills- Lb's, I believe they can contain some of that speed and the front line will beat Central's. Some people may think I am crazy but I say Hills in a shocker.
  19. So why did you vote for E-town in the poll?
  20. If Shawnee does not prepare at all then yes it matters. For teams that have to prepare it does.
