It is a no win situation, they would not be honest in a survey anyway unless it was anonymous. If you have a bad season, there will be grumbling. If you think Highlands, or St. X (just 2 ex) goes 3-7 next year, that there would not be some rumblings? Just the world we live in as coaches.
Meyer has a lot leaving
In Gruden's book he talks about ND being his dream job
Lou is not as old as Bobby and Joe
Paul J bring back the option -easier to recruit that talent
the rest proven winners-
those others you listed are hot but have they done it over time
Here is Knute's List.
1. Meyer
2. Gruden
3. Holtz(Lou)
4. Stoops
5. Paul Johnson
6. Rex Ryan
7. Pete Carroll
This is a good list, show them the money and see what happens.
Central looked very human in this one. Hills could have won this game, went for 2 while they had a 7 point lead, dropped a td in the end zone and had Curry matched up on a speedy Robinson at the end. Those were key plays, that hurt them along the way. Central played without King and Patterson both out for the season. So to answer the question yes-they are beatable. The one dominant part of their game was their ability to run the option.
Probably should be then, how many did they have last year? Add Patterson and Bolden that is 5, not to mention King could play somewhere. I know of coaches that get 1 or 2 in a career and still win games.
