Catlett is a good guy and coach- I would be so bold to say if he was at Trinity he would win a state championship there. He could get kids from all over the city- surrounding counties- and even Indiana. Boy his geographic region to draw from would explode- 120 freshmen every year- wow- Be careful to critize someone until you have walked in their shoes.

You reap what you sow--- Good luck to him- At least they will not have an interium coach again!

He was on the team at Western but did not play much He was an assistant at Henry Co. D-line and ran the conditioning program Only there 1 year and left for Florida Was a D-cord --Ithink in Florida This is his first head coaching job at Paris

Charlie- Knute is wiser and has a better winning percentage than you do! There are athletes at Fern Creek than will allow you to compete with any body, at any place at any time

Hey Charlie, Fern Creek could be great with some stability and some better hires over the last few years. Russ Gibson had them in at 3-4 every year behind X-T-H!!!! Could be a very good job

The khsaa is scared of the private schools- or the split would have happened like it was voted on and passed!! Other states have seperate championships for the privates because they are a totally different animal than a public school

Looks like Steve Lovelace has the inside track-

you have to have both to win it all- or at least avg coaching if you have superior athletes

Ben played for Oldham Co he could fly Mark Higgs and Vince Buck both from Owensboro same backfield same year both played in the NFL

I did not say i would put an asterick by their championship but a lot of people believe they used the system to their advantage. If they win in 5a it will be legit for sure with no cause for controversy...... period!

I agree Boosters could make up the teaching difference and add it to the coaching stipend

Schedule will be of people their size and speed Lose a lot of players- on both sides I bet it will be tougher to go 15-0 with that schedule If they do everyone will have to give them credit for this year and not put an asterick by the state championship.

What Trinity coach has not won a title????? I would go with someone like Smith that took a program from loserville to success! To me that is the best indicator.
