Congrats to Mike Rogers and Warren Cent. on a good hire.

The big reasons they started having it again starting 1997 was how many D1 players where coming out of states that had spring ball and not having football in the spring. Example Arkansas and Mississippi two states one had it the other did not. Arkansas had it and had 23 D1 players signed with major school around the country. Now then Mississippi did not have it all and they had 9 D1 players. In the state of Kentucky the numbers of D1 players has triple sence 1997. Now the reason Ohio is better is they have about four citys bigger then Louisville, everbody knows the more kids playing the better your team going to be.

This about the football team getting kick out if the weather is not right. What do you tell the your team this is your weigthroom this is the place we get bigger and stronger this is your place, oh just a second weather is not good get out of the way the softball team is comming. If your right the football team has 75 players working and getting stronger then the softball team of about 20 players comes in and tells them to get out when ever the weather suits them or not. No wonder the Coach got mad and left this does not happen at any other good program in the state.:ohbrother:

If what I am reading right it is a shame in what is going on at Franklin Co. school system and this may lead to the down fall of Eagle Football. Football and the wieght room linked together, the better your off season weights are the better the team is in fall. Franklin Co. was looking pretty strong the last few seasons but with out the off season work they will become a shell of it former self this is shameful.

Congrats Dave Wirth on getting one of the best jobs in the state.

I love the history of some of the great programs in the state of Kentucky. Call me Crazy but I like the way the Boyle Co. helmets have changed over time. I have to say the black and Gold looks nice.:thumb:

I watched it last year it was a great game. I think 8-9 East won but I could be wrong on that. If everything falls in to place I will be back again to see the all-stars at Bath Co. battle it out.

Shelby Valley could be a team to watch out for in '09. Just maybe a team that could top the most wins set in '99 with 9-2 record.
