Ray Graham, Chris Tracy are names I have heard. I am not sure if interviews have started or not, they were about to start but the AD could not get started due to softball season beginning?

I am anxious to see if a new coach is hired in a couple of weeks. They must have narrowed the field of 30 to a select few.

March 1st is only a week away. If they want to help kids, it needs to be done asap. Spring ball looks to be 3 weeks away. If a coach is going to have some time this spring he will be busy.

Why would Tracy want to leave Woodford? Graham retired from public school to go work at LCA, so does he miss calling the shots?

He needs 2 more years to get FULL retirement. If I'm not mistaken he has 28 years in. Good luck to Ray Graham to what ever he chooses to do.

They have not even been through the applications yet, so a March 1st hire would be impossible to IMHO. The football team was not able to lift yesterday, they were not allowed in the wieghtroom due to softball using the cages. Football team is too noisy in the wieghtroom.

That doesn't sound well for support of the football team. Good luck to the next coach.

Seems like they have been able to overcome support issues by having good coaches and good talent. Wonder where coach Ledford will end up?

Wow. Sounds like they have some problems. To me football should be the most important and get the most support. Typically there is more students involved in football than all the other sports together.

 

Don't get me wrong they all are important. But to keep the football team out of the weightroom is like telling the softball team to get off of the field b/c the basketball team needs to run. :eyeonyou:

Does anyone have an idea of who all the applicants were? I know a few names have been mentioned, but wonder if anyone knew who else has applied.
