According to the Game Director, Tom Posey, this bowl game will be played at Bath Co. High School on June 12th at 7:30 p.m.

 

East Team: Ashland, Boyd Co., East Carter, Fairview, Greenup Co., Johnson Central, Lawrence Co., Paintsville, Raceland and Russell.

I'm there, I have been to the first two in this series and they have both been great games and fun to watch. I can't wait to see who is playing for the East.

I watched it last year it was a great game. I think 8-9 East won but I could be wrong on that. If everything falls in to place I will be back again to see the all-stars at Bath Co. battle it out.

The East did win last year in a close contest. West won the first game at Montgomery County, so this year will be to break the tie.

Actually last year was the 3rd game. West won the 2nd game which was at Montgomery County. The 1st game was won by the East, at Fairview and Fairview's Chad Tackett was the Head Coach. So this summer will be the fourth game.

You are absolutely correct. I totally forgot about the first game at Fairview.

The first game was the best one overall in the series.

What do you think the chances of having the players that have already signed to play college ball will play in the All-Star game?

Downing and Bolander of Lewis County were invited to participate.

It's up to the college coaches. Some coaches will not allow signed players to play in All-Star games, some will. I hope all the area stars get to play though, that would make a great East Team.

I've been to games #2 and 3. I believe Mason County's Richard Wells was the West MVP in game 2.

 

A fond memory of that game was running to Wal-Mart to buy tickets; I was helping at the booth and we ran out.
