I was reading the Courier Journal that one of the Fort Knox football players, Zach Ellis, is going to play at Georgetown. Congratulations. Go Eagles!:thumb:

Congrats Zach, you are the first player from Fort Knox to sign to play college football in quite some time. When I played at Knox it was a normal thing to have some players signing a football scholarship. So being a former player I am happy for you.

I saw this from their site. Looks like he will be teaming up with the really good wide out from E-Town. I also heard that another player from Fort Knox may be signing with a school next week.

Tiger Football Welcomes Signees (2-4-09)

 

Coach Bill Cronin and his staff are pleased to announce the signing of 20 recruits who will join the 2009 Georgetown College Tiger Football Team.

 

"I am pleased with the talent and character of the student-athletes that have committed to play for us and I look forward to watching them mature as players and as young men in our program," said Cronin.

 

Cronin expects to continue to add to the 2009 class throughout the semester and looks forward to formally announcing the group at the annual Orange and Black Scrimmage to be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Toyota Stadium.
