Isn't it funny how the week that they pull the Durham kids offer that they get beaten by a team that should not have been able to even be in the game with them. Talk about bad karma! I guess it all comes back around.

Does Rockcastle have a nice crowd to travel? Can we expect another standing room only game like last week? I sure hope so!

If JC thinks they can hang with Rockcastle and play like they did Friday night, they will be in for a big surprise. JC will need to play the best game of the year to win this one, and even then its going to be extremely close. Rockcastle is a great football team with a great coaching staff. I think this one will be a war and has the potential to be a great high school football game. This one goes to the team that wants it the most. I can't make a predition because its to close to call.

That was with the JV offense in the game and moving the ball at will. Coach Matney sent on the feild goal team in twice in the 4th on 1st down plays, not wanting to run the score up.

You can't leave out Blake Johnson FB and LB at Johnson Central. He was second team all state at FB last year.

Great win for JC, but the Boyd County fans definately have something to look forward to. Coach Evans has this team going in the right direction. They play hard and hit hard and are aggressive. I think that will translate into many more wins next year.

Hopefully we'll get to see in a couple of weeks!

JC better come out and play like they're going to take the win, because I know Ashland's not going to lay down and give it to them. They looked horrible to first quarter against Boyd. If they do what they need to, they should be able to take care of business.

Sure everyone knows about Grim, Tackett and Johnson, and they're all teriffic football players, but there's another kid who is only a sophmore at Johnson Central who is really proving his worth. Chase Richardson, may be one of the best "All-around Athletes" on the team. Plays at TB, can play FB, played D-line last year and some this year and has saw some PT at linebacker this season. We must also remember he did not even play the first 4 or 5 games due to an infection. He is one player that can go from just about any position and contribute their.

I look for this to be a much closer game. Boyd is much improved from the last time we played. We had better have our heads on right and be ready to play, which I think we will. JC 35 Boyd 7

I couldn't agree more. It has no place in dealing with kids. And as for the kids cursing, I beleive that needs to be dealt with in some manner as well.

Johnson Centrals field has been covered through all of the rain and is actually nearly dry. Conditions should be great for Fridays game.

I hope to see a big crowd travel from Paintsville to Maysville on Friday evening. We will need a big cheering section to support our kids. I also hope that the school will take a bunch of pep buses for the students. This is for all the marbles, lets go all out.

How many teams in the state had undefeated freshman teams? Who did they play?

The Eagles need to come out fired-up and ready to play in this one. A loss here and they are pushed back to 3rd in the district and on the road in the playoffs. Mason has some great athletes and I know they'll be ready.
