This has to be the highest Johnson Central has ever been ranked in football. In any poll, in the history of the program.

Two first place votes now.... pretty safe to assume that the Ashland Daily Independent is one now... HAHA

 

I honestly don't feel JC is #2 in the state... but nonetheless congrats to a program that is definately on the right track and one of the finest head coaches you will find!

In 1a, Frankfort should be ahead of Danville and LCA should be ahead of Raceland and NCC should be in the Top 10 somewhere, replacing Metcalfe.

 

In 2a, it looks pretty good.

 

In 3a, Cov Cath needs to be in top 4, at least, E.Jessamine should be in there somewhere, replacing Bell.

 

In 4a, Manual should be in there somewhere, ahead of W.Central and I would take Scott out.

Upon checking it is interesting to note that of the media outlets which voted, not a single one was the News_Express (Pikeville), Big Sandy News (Paintsville), or the Daily Independent (Ashland).

 

In other words, those two first palce votes were in fact NOT homer votes for JC! :eek:

I am not crying about the rankings because I do not pay any attention to them. As you point out they are just a rating. After this weekend everyone is even 0-0.

 

I can't help that no one except the HC faithful are giving them a chance. I didn't say they didn't have a chance, I just don't think they will beat BHS just as you don't think BHS will beat HC.

 

Only beating in dist teams is the reason I put Frankfort where HC was in the poll, they beat the #1 team in the state and like I said, I will eat crow and put HC #2 if they beat BHS friday otherwise they fall out of the top 10.

If you've been around sports, which I feel you have........Just because you beat the #1 team doesn't mean you're #1. Ffort wasn't even ranked. They moved up where they should. Because if that's the case, they should be ahead of BHS. We could debate that........

Give it a break, to each his own opinion. I wll be back on Friday night at full strength after the game. As some said, we will talk on the field w/our pads as BHS always does. HC has had a great season and now it is time to come to a sad END, first w/BHS then w/NCC.
