Final Pikeville jumped out to a 45-0 halftime lead and cruised to their 3rd win of the season...

Way to go Pirates...looks to be another good fall of football on Pond Creek. I agree in that the Belfry-Pikeville game this year will be a good game, the way it should be...Pikeville will have to beat Lexington Catholic though on the 14th to reamin unbeaten going into the Belfry game and that is doubtful.

I got to know Travis at Pikeville College and seeing him around Pikeville the past couple of years...I just found out about his death and I'm shocked...Travis was a great guy and he will be missed. My prayers are with his family during this very hard time.

Hopefully Coach J will stay put at Pikeville but you can't blame him for being interested in a great job like Henderson County... Coach J is a good coach and person and I wish him and his family the best...

The talent level is down right now...I would guess this is Pikeville's worst season since 2000 maybe even longer. Coach Priode knows the game though and Pikeville has a great feeder program, the Panthers will be back playing for region titles soon IMO.

I don't know much about Valley this year but Matewan won at Shelby Valley 14-7 a day after getting beat 10-0 at Pikeville...

Did you live in Pikeville when Belfry won their state titles in football?

If he stays instate he will be a Cat...gonna be hard to keep him instate though.
