According to a article at scout, the Cats informed "Big Ed" yesterday that they no longer have a scholly available for him. A little surprising because he was ready to commit to the Cats yesterday according to some....He will play on the O-line in college imo and I really thought we could use him.

Great News!! Picked UK over offers from Louisville, Arkansas, and Indiana. This also has to help with Patterson, which can't hurt.

:thumb: Hartline has a lot to improve on no doubt, but all things considered I think he did pretty good yesterday. He will only get better and he played within his abilities and showed good leadership. Aaron Boyd is expected to play next week and hopefully Kyrus Lanxter was just having 1st game jitters which resulted in several dropped balls. Cobb is a stud and needs to be on the field. We need him at WR badly imo and that is where he will get the majority of his snaps.

You got to think this will be the Cats weakest team they will field for the next few years...I would guess the same can be said for UofL also. I hope they keep the series going...should be some good games in the years to come.

Still trying to recover from yesterday...that is the hottest game I have ever been to and one of the hottest I have been in my life...I got so hot in the 2nd quarter that I had to go find some shade...While sitting in the shade I saw a fan being hauled out on a stretcher about every 5 minutes it seemed. Put me in the category that the Cats got a huge break on the "halo penalty" on the Lyons punt return...I agree you never know what happens if the Cats don't catch that break...Thats part of the game though.

We will/should be 4-0 heading to Bama so I guess we will/should be in the national title hunt for a few more weeks. Too bad we will/should be 4-0 with wins over 4 bad teams.

Yeah really...It would have been nice to have last years offense and this years defense together for one season.

He needs some game expereince too...He could still have a future in the league I guess but I was expecting a lot more from Cantwell.

Hartline did do good for his first start on the road against your instate rival. However, he needs to improve a lot if the Cats plan on going bowling again this year imo.

It was so funny listening to the excuses after the game out in the tailgate lot....I had a few tell me they are a Baseball and Basketball school..:lol: I told them they for sure weren't a football school.
