I believe there is about 4 minutes left in the first half in this one, though the radio announcers never really tell anything.

Pikeville defense playing pretty well thus far holding the Lex Cath offense down to 10 points. Pikeville really should have scored on their last drive, but the penetration into the backfield disrupted the Pikeville option and the fumble happened.

Pikeville's defense hold's forces the punt for Lex Cath. Great job by the Panthers' defense thus far, they have really come to play.

 

Hopefully the offense will get a spark from Harmon or one of the twins.

1:18 to go in the half, Pikeville looks to just be running out the clock. Pikeville's offense just isn't able to score quickly, so LEx Cath takes a timeout to try and get the ball back.

Honaker rolled out and got hit from behind and fumbled. Lex Cath scoops and scores 16-0 Lex Cath, extra point pending...

Seconds remaining in the half, very costly error for Honaker and the Panthers, they should have just ran out the clock.

Pikeville has had many opportunites to score and to keep it closer, and just fumbled it away literally. That last fumble by Tim Honaker was a very deflating mistake for Pikeville, hopefully they will be able to come out and play mistake free on offense in the 2nd half to help out their hard-working defense.

Pikeville had a good drive going on their opening possesion of teh second half, and yet another fumble by the Panthers and recovery by Lex Cath.

 

On the bright side, the Panther defense is bringing the lumber!
