I know of a 1A school just South of Laurel Co that pays 40% more for their coaches pay and it is not Williamsburg. I don't know what WB pays.

Where is Ky Christian College? Is it JR or 4 year?

I believe they will. What is their non district schedule? is it the same as last year. They will have a hard time with Bell, Rock, and Clay. The other district games will be interesting if they improve over last year.

I agree with the incoming th graders. They should be allowed to participate in Sping practice. It would help if they were even allowed to participate without pads. Just learn the offense and defense of the team they will be playing for the next year. Just goes to show you the KHSAA is not wanting football to succeed in KY. IN most schools, Spring practice is a waste of time for the coaches and teams. W/O using the baseball and track players that does'nt give you much to work with. PLus the other states are allowed to have scrimmages with other schools and KY can't do that.

Look for Dusty Miller to have an impact at Rockcastle Co at TB. He was injured in the 3rd game last year and was the starting TB. He is back 100% and ready for action behind his big line.

This is not a move up for an experienced winning coach. A young energetic coach that has some head coaching experience would be a good selection. Either do that or hire an assistant that has zero experience. Chapell has the experience and is young and energetic. I would have to say give him an opportunity.

From what I have heard, Jason Chapel will be the next coach at SL.

Congrats to Coach Morris. He has accomplished a lot during his coaching career and deserves the honor. Hopes he wins the award.

We are going to have human error and complaints from the fans no matter if the goal post were 100 feet tall. College goal post are also more narrow than the high school post. This would be tougher to make a FG or PAT at the HS level.

Aaron Stepp would be a good choice. Don't know if he would want to leave Clay Co. He has a great mind for the passing game.

Shawn Childress from Rockcastle attended the UK Junior Day with Brad Durham. Shawn is a 6'2 WR with great hands and athletic ability.

Should be a great scrimmage between N. Laurel and Rockcastle Co this summer. Both teams will be physical. Should be a lot of hard hitting and smash mouth football.

Gabe Stallsworth- Rockcastle Co. #10 Got a late start at RB but sure carried Rock to semi-finals. 205 yds against Lex Cath. I am sure Bell Co and Ashland remembers him.

I agree. Just not fair being in the S schools with St X being part of the vote.

I disagree that DM gets more outof his players than anyone in the state. However, he may have more players on the field during Spring practice than anyone else in the state. A lot of school may only have 25-30 players during Spring practice. How many does Highlands have. Some teams don't even have a QB because of baseball or track.

Maybe the Highlands 2000 team vs a weak D3 team.
