A player from the Boyd County football team told me earlier that Coach Damron announced today that he has resigned as head coach and will go to Kentucky Christian College and coach.

Very tough loss and I wish Coach Damron nothing but the best!

Is he the Head Coach at KY Christian?

I assume that he will be named head coach of Kentucky Christian sometime over the next few days.

I wish him luck. Hope they fill his spot quickly.

Huge loss, he did a really good job there I thought. They have a lot of great guys on that staff. It will be interesting to see who gets the job. Congrats on his new adventure at KCC.

Actually guys, Kentucky Christian has no football team! YET!!!

It is a done deal.

Write it down.

I believed goherd called this one.

Who will take his place at Boyd?

Typicall. A school has a good coach and they let him get away. I know coach Damron wasn't appreciated as much as he should have been at Boyd. Good luck coach. :thumb:

I heard that McPeek will be the Principal at BCHS next year and that it is TJ Maynard's Head Caoch job if he wants it.
