The Tomcats had a great season and had nothing to hang their heads after the defeat to the ROCK. ROCK was clicking on all cylinders on Fri. If they can play this good against Bell Co. then I will pick them to win. I thought the ROCK QB was the best high school QB I have seen all year. His receivers did a great job running patterns and catching the ball. Their TB was not a big guy but followed his blocks well. The ROCK line was superb. I understand that only one was a senior. The big tackle #74 is a junior and should be getting some offers.

If you want to compare scores, Rock beat Madison Southern at Rock 35-14. I believe the two TD's were on the Rock JV late in the game. It should be a great game on Log Mt. between these two perennial powers. I would hate to pick the winner. Both will be prepared and play their hearts out. Since both use 13th region officials, there should be neutral officials on the field calling the game.

Burkhart was 15-17 for 186 yards. Stallsworth had 192 yards on 35 carries. Rock mixed up the offense with some unusual formations that I believe confused Ashland at times. If these two played again next week, Ashland could very well win. Tonight belonged to Rock. Good luck on Log Mountain next Friday.

Better believe it he did. He is small but a great player. Rock plays with heart. That is what won the game. HARD AS A ROCK!!!

Ashland needs to improve their dressing facility. Dressing in a dungion. Been to places like that 50 years ago. Field is not bad but usually muddy and sidelines you stand in water and mud. They need to put carpet on the sidelines.

So do Rock. Visitors have bleachers now. And has a great playing surface. Visitors have a great locker room next to the field.

The hit wasn't hard enough because he got back into the game after a couple of plays. He is a tough kid.

Rock held the ball for 35 minutes to Mason's 13. Rock had 21 first downs to Mason's 9. Stallsworth had another 100 yard game, his 4th in a row in as many starts.

Sounds good to this Rock fan. Let it pour in buckets.

Timmy from North Laurel is sure among the favorites. He is hard working and would lay his body on the line for the team. He would have to be #1 in 4A for sure. The kid from Rock or Lawrence Co in 3A for #1. Don't know about 2A. 1A would have to be Danny from Lynn Camp. Anyone know the names of the managers from Rock and Lawrence Co?

Maybe we should set up an annual contest between these managers and see whio is the best. Filling water bottles, repairing a helmet and shouder pads, doing laundry, etc.

He is very good. Dedicated to the bone. Has an outstanding winning record. Needs to work on filling up the water bottles. Gets so involved in game that sometimes you would think he is the coach. I think he is a coach.

Did Josh Ware transfer? Heard earlier he was going to stay his Sr year and heard today he was moving. Anyone answer this?
