Best Looking Field In Eky

I don't think there is a field around better than ASHLANDS Grand old Putnam stadium! No place better to be on a Friday nite!!! :laugh:

 

Who has the best field in your opinion?

It has looked good the last few years since they quit playing soccer on it. I know when I go there for the Ashland - Lawrence County games you can feel a presence of the history of the Tomcats in the air.

I will have to admit, Ashland's field personel does do some good prep work on their field. Out here in the County, we have farm and tractor shows on our field. Hard to play ball around all the piles of manure. Actually the County's biggest problem is Soccer also.

There's no denying who has the best playing surface...Putnam looks like a golf course...Hat's off to their field crew...

Of the grass fields I have seen so far in EKY, Corbin's looks the best. WHen I watch the grid their last week it was one of the best fields I have seen. I also liked Pineville, their field looked good too. Lynn Camp's field also is really shaping up.

I believe that is in Louisville, the thread is eastern KY teams.

But Putnam stadium hands down in this one.

If Ashland would take care of their locker room situation problem, then they would be a complete top-notch field, but if you included present locker rooms into the mix, then they would probably fall a notch or two. Well, I am assuming they havent changed since last year.

How about this: For a FAN it is a top notch place to watch a game.
