Belfry doesnt have anything different in their complex than Letcher Central does do they? I mean besides letcher haveing the replay screen.

Belfry's is nice ;) But the replay screen is super :thumb:

Excellent LCC has some great facilities.

Wow Lethcer is top notch...the facility is nice.

Belfry Pikeville and Letcher Central have fields to put up against any in the state...and IMO are nicer than Putnam. Check out LCC...the stadium and field...and YES our scoreboard is near the bottom. Enjoy

Somerset has a nice football complex. This picture was taken in 2001 and since then the grass has been redone with bermuda, the parking lot has been repaved, and two additional lanes have been added to the track. Clark Field has one of the states largest capacities in high school with max at 7,500.

I have a great memory from that stadium and 1979. Thanks for posting the pic and allowing me a mental replay for a moment. :D

I really don't care to much football fields that has a track around them.

It seems like you are 80 yards away from the sidelines.

At our (Middlesboro) field and others like Corbin and Pineville you are right on top of the action.

Belfry's stadium is far and away the best east of the UK campus.

How about EKU?

You brought the colleges into it by mentioning UK. :D

Absolutely, but you did make me look at a map.

I have great memories there, too, but not from football (we never played Somerset in football during my years).

I remember going there every year for the Regional track meet. We had some good times there. :thumb:

Mr Network ran track? ;)

I don't think there is a field around better than ASHLANDS Grand old Putnam stadium! No place better to be on a Friday nite!!!

Who has the best field in your opinion?

I would have to agree I played one time on that field and it was amazing.. the feeling that you would get felt good you could tell you was going to play a good team just cause of the field. The football seems like it floats in the air for some reason? Or maybe that is just what I got out of it just tossing a football around before strecthing.
