Rockcastle County will be there with quite a few kids.

I think Harrodsburg will be there with 5 or 6 kids. I know Jackson, Ford, and Edwards will be there.

Looks like if there is only going to be one sports team for the Harrodsburg/Mercer County consolidation in the fall - The football team is going to be loaded with speed in the backfield. Cory Jackson, Donald Walker, and Brandon Ford each ran a 4.3 at the combine. Freeman Edwards ran a 4.6 with two bad ankles. This could become a very interesting team!!!!

Keep in mind the breeze that was blowing yesterday. 4.3, 4.4.,4.5, 4.6..whatever they ran, it doesnt matter. Anybody who has seen those boys mentioned play, know that they are all very talented, dang good HS football players that can take it for "6" anytime they touch it. This year should be fun! :thumb:

Not the best day to have a combine, weather wise, but I am sure the college coaches will take that into account.

The Durham kid from Rock was interviewed on channel 36 last night from the combine. He and the other lineman were tops in the 185 rep with 31 and 28 reps.

Durham had a 26.5 vertical 4.9 shuttle for 300 pounds.

I did hear the results of these kids and he is correct. However, they are not 4.3's. But they are extremely fast, the wind was blowing about 15 mph behind their backs and they had different people hand timing these. I'd say they are all accurately low 4.5's realistically. That is a compliment to them to have 3 guys that can run a legit 4.5 - 4.49.

It seemed like Mercer County had big strong guys there and Harrodsburg had quick speedy guys there. Could be a dangerous combination for the opposition.
