3 year starting OL/DL Mikey Denny (1st team All State CJ) & 3 year starting QB Matthew Burkhart will play for the Bulldogs in the Fall. They will join former Rockcastle Rocket Derrek Hurst on the team who is playing DB as a sophomore.

Mikey who benched 185lbs 42 times at a combine last year is playing in the KY-TN All Star game and is strong as ever. Matt is the 2nd leading passer in the school's history only 34 yards behind Aaron Anderkin (01'-02').

They should both help out the team a great deal.

I agree, they will help Union. 3 other Rockets may join them.

Congrats to these two fin players, they will help Union. Union has put together a strong recruiting class this year.

I didn't realize how close he was to Anderkin's record. What a great career he had as a Rocket!!!

Congrats to both these young men! :thumb:

Congrat's to both players and all who are going to continue on to the next level to play football. I've seen these kids play for years because Southern middle school and Southwestern have played Rockcastle for as long as my son has played ball. We missed playing them last season but I watched them play at Danville while we were there. It was a fun 5 years. Again congrats and I'm positive they'll do well at Union.....................LTW.

Congrats to both, they sound like fine players.

Congratulations - I wish them well!!

Congrats to the Rock players!!!

Things are really looking up for the Bulldog's next season. Can't wait to see thme in action next season.
