Who are some of the players this year that are going to be impact players but weren't last year? Who's made the most out of the winter and spring weights and conditioning? Who's added speed, size, and quickness. I'll name a few later from Highland's.

I think Jake Urlage from Highlands fits this category. Jake has all the talent to really be an impact player this year for the Birds.

Dalton Cissell - North Bullitt

Current Freshman -- finished 4th overall in 175 lb weight class at state meet. Currently benches 300 lbs. Rushed for 1,046 yds in first year as varsity player scoring a total of 12 TD's while sharing carries with 2 senior RB's. Will be an impact player in the future.

He ran VERY well for JV until he got hurt...don't forget Jay Draper @ QB....pray he stays healthy and I think he is really going to put up some numbers...and of course W's !!

Leatherneck you were right about Jake and I also think that Max Little will be a major impact player at wide reciever. He will be a strong physical type reciever like Ben Guidugli was last year.

Look for Dusty Miller to have an impact at Rockcastle Co at TB. He was injured in the 3rd game last year and was the starting TB. He is back 100% and ready for action behind his big line.

Cody Quinn - SL - really became a factor late for the Cardinals and will give them a very solid RB and DB this season. I love how hard this kid plays.

Aaron Fugate - NL - was injured off and on his frosh and soph seasons, was starting as a soph, but his family says he is now 100% healthy and he is a hosscat at LB and on the OL!

Antoine Robinson- Frankfort- 5'8 weights about 210. Didnt shine as mush last year cause of former Frankfort Star Alonzo Tillman look fo Robinson to step it up this season.

Don't forget the Fitzgerald boy either at HHS. With his determination and heart there has to be a place on the field for him. I look for him to be in the LB rotation. He was stellar last year on JV D.

Daniel Harmon-RB Pikeville

Was just a freshman last year but was an instant impact on offense. If this kid stays healthy and keeps his head screwed on straight he will rewrite the record books at Pikeville.

Dylan Grandon QB North Oldham

He will be a JR but has started since his Freshman year. I look for him to have a nice year.

Ryan Smart Pulaski SW

GREAT KID!!! He crept on the scene last year after moving from Oldham Co. He is a really nice H.S. player!
