Sleepers last year, Star's this year!

Michael Flechler on D-Line for Trinity will be a player. He's fast, strong, and smart. Watch for him.

Don't forget the Fitzgerald boy either at HHS. With his determination and heart there has to be a place on the field for him. I look for him to be in the LB rotation. He was stellar last year on JV D.

Add Trey Jurgens to this list. Probable starter at DT has a motor that does not quit. He has the quickness that HHS is noted for, but brings a little more size and strength.

Rob Madon from Corbin will be a big one, another big one will be in the trnches will be a man among boys this year Is Jesse Hayden, he was thrown in the mix last year as a freshman and did very good but this year with another year on intense weight lifting alot of running and a lil help from Clyde Burchette this kid will be un stoppable

Mr Hubbard from Leslie county has been talked about for a while but this year i think is going to be his best year. He is working so hard already for season and i dont think he will stop untill he gets another Championship under his belt

..

Daniel Harmon-RB Pikeville

Was just a freshman last year but was an instant impact on offense. If this kid stays healthy and keeps his head screwed on straight he will rewrite the record books at Pikeville.

I agree Harmon has a chance to be a very good player and he has the potential to be a very big part of Pikeville's team as a soph.

So which Bird is NOT a sleeper?

Tony Knox, Bullitt East. He split time at running back last year opposite of Corey Rakes. Tony will be a junior this upcoming season and is ready to shine. He had a tremendous spring and he added weight and speed.

So which Bird is NOT a sleeper?

You have a point there cshs81.

Not sure I'd call Kramer a sleeper.

He is not a sleeper by any means. Having seen him play the past 3 seasons, I can tell you that NOONE will go to sleep on this kid. He and Howard will be 2 of the most electric players to watch in the mountains for 2006! Anybody who thinks they are a sleeper hasn't been paying attention!!!

Zack Warmouth DE 6-0 190 Sr. and Hunter Eads DT 5-11 225 Sr., both from Dunbar.

Not sure I'd call Kramer a sleeper.

...or any of the returning offensive linemen / linebackers.

(key phrase is "returning")

Buddy Lunsford of Ludlow could very well be a sleeper. Played a little bit of WR last year but was mainly a safety/corner for the panthers. This year, rumors are he could be moved to QB to take over for Chase King. Buddy has a great arm, but his main problem may be his size. I think hes 5 ft. 8 in. so he may have some trouble seeing over the Panthers O-line, especially with some decent sized kids returning for the panthers!

Clint Greene 6`1 224 RB/LB 4.49 forty if he get`s the chance he will light it up on both sides of the ball.

Is Clyde Burchette helping Corbin in the weight room? I didn't realize he was still coaching at Corbin.
