Good win for BE in overtime.

The bad part about that is the BE coaches told the defense during the timeout that they were going to throw the ball to Hilton. -

You are in for a surprise then. BE is playing now like they should've all year. It will be a slugfest. -

McCarthy ran for 354 yards on 36 carries. BE as a team ran for 506 yards. Zack is a senior. -
As a UK fan, I'm very glad to see this.

The defense must improve for BE to make a playoff run in 08. A new scheme on that side of the ball should help. BE has a strong senior class for the upcoming season, which is always big. The QB will also have a year of starting experience under his belt and will be a junior.

My cousin is an assitant coach at BE. Coach Preston will be running the defense. BE will continue to run the veer.
-
Coach Preston and the assistant he brought with him will be running the defense. Coach Bowles we be calling the offense and BE will be running the split back veer.
-
BE will return 10 guys on offense with starting experience. The QB was a sophomore last year and you could really see him grow as the season progressed. If I had to venture a guess right now, BE will be starting as many as 10 seniors on offense. I would also expect to see 9 seniors starting on defense. This past year was tough, especially losing 3 games by one point. Plus, the expecience of playing a very good Manual team on the road will only help. BE will have a big senior class next year and an experienced QB, those things use add up to good seasons.

I don't know who told you that lie, but the offense isn't going to change. Coach Settles has nothing to do with the offensive side of the ball.
-
I don't think Manual was trying to run up the score. I think their coach knew that the lead wasn't safe and they needed to score because BE kept scoring.
-
That pretty well sums it up. E-town had no answer for Larue's running game.

What are the freshman records of those 2 teams?

It wasn't on here, it was on a different website.

Best of luck to you guys, you did a great job hosting.

BE didn't even run to Farley's side then. The kid for Butler I thought that stood out was the Free Safety. He did a nice job of closing and made some solid tackles. The running back No. 21 was a tough runner. I wasn't overly impressed with anyone on Butler's lines. Butler had a huge weight advantage over BE, but for some reason they weren't able to really control the game.

He wasn't unblockable, he was unblocked. He was the read man on the midline option play that BE ran about 30 times yesterday.
