Jim Schue
Also last year, McLean County beat Metcalfe County 7-6 during the final week of the season. Metcalfe (the #1 seed) proceeded to rout McLean (the #4) in the first round of the playoffs, 40-6. If Metcalfe was the 1 seed and McLean the 4, that means Metcalfe had their spot already assured, and may have sandbagged against a team that had a lot more to lose. Also, back in 2001, HHS beat CCH (badly) during the regular season and lost a close one to CCH in the playoffs.

mh2365
I think when two teams are somewhat equal .. it is tough to beat a team twice in one year.
