CC could not stop BE's ground attack and BE could not stop CC's passing game. Both teams rolled up around 500 yards of offense. McCarthy's 350 on the ground matched by Brockman's 350 in the air (despite no feeling in two fingers in his throwing hand from helmet to funny bone last week that did not go away). It severely impacted QB's normal accuracy and long ball. #22 for BE was matched by 100+ on the ground and 150+ receiving in another big night by Willis. Brockman tosses 6 TDs and runs for one. Great game. Lakers had the ball with 1:00 to go and surpisingly did not get to paydirt. Congrats to BE - win the ship to make the Lakers and west side of state proud!
