  1. Guess everyone doesnt have the money that FCHS does to have new bleachers.....must be nice.
  2. Has Tates Creek hired anyone yet?
  3. Enough with the problems that Paris has. Are there any names being floated around?
  4. 5lilmonkeys, why the slam? To my knowledge and I should know, I have had 1 interivew in my 5 years at Frankfort. I know I don't have to get on her and defend myself, but I think it is funny. Is someone to blame for wanting to move up in the coaching world, who wouldn't put there name in for the Boyle County job, you would be crazy not to. No feelers, wouldn't go that far, but that is fine. Looks as if you would not hide you feelings and if you have a real problem with Foley (me), you could always go to school and see him and take care of this. Let me restate, don't waste my time, I have no time for this and I'm trying to get my kids ready for next season, so if your a disgruntled parent whose son isn't playing deal with it, if your an alumni who don't like the way things are going (final 4 this year, when has that happened recently), maybe you should sit with me and we can talk this out. Other than that I see no real need to for the slam, but I'm thicked skinned and can handle it, have always had an open door policy and always will. Not sure what the professional comment is about, my teams have always played/looked professional on the field, academically, another good question, in 5 years here think I have 3 kids that have been ruled ineligible. Again, if you have concerns come to school and see me (only between 12:00-2:00), have class all morning. Look forward to talking about this in person and not behind some name. C. Foley
  5. You know I have rarely ever posted on here, enjoy getting on and ready the post but don't get involved. As the Head Coach at Frankfort, I have my hands directly involved in any and everything that goes on with the program, from the play calling, to the colors that we wear. If someone has problems with the coaches, it includes me. The thing that dissapoints me is the fact that we have a VERY GOOD CHANCE this year to get to the carpet, but we constantly have distractions. Is it a distraction to the coaches, no, but PLAYERS get on here and read this crap and then their minds start thinking about things other than FOOTBALL. Outside of school work, there is nothing else they need to be thinking about. They don't need to worry about coaches this and that, they HAVE to do what they are told. Egos among coaches, dang right, I think I HAVE THE BEST STAFF IN THE STATE, so yes we have egos on the field, do we let it interfer with our preperation NOPE. We have a goal as a team and staff to win each and every game, when we don't sometimes we lose to better teams, other times, it is MY fault. Read the articles, I believe the eminence game I TOOK THE BLAME for the performance, not the kids. Kids have accountability, but it comes back to ME. For ANY AND ALL supporters (or so called), stop the bashing and support these guys and their run to something that hasn't been done in years at Frankfort --- a chance to play on the carpet. Coach Foley
  6. Fluke play, I love it, kids make plays and people want to call them flukes..... bottom line both teams played hard and got what they respectively deserved........ Bird was voted co-mvp I think, not sole MVP..but the kid can flat out play.........
  7. Don't believe that Foley is interested, he is pretty happy with the team he has coming back at FHS......
  8. I will have to say that I'm sure the TB wasn't cussing his coaches.....may have been cussing someone but knowing those coaches, I know that they would not put up with being cusses by a player.
  9. What did the coaching staff at G-town tell these two.... Will they be competing for the QB spot..... One of the 2 will not be playing QB, and I don't see Petrino being able to play any other position, so that leaves Ammons to switch spots.... Just curious as to what they were told.... we all know it is a college business and sometimes kids are told/promised things and when they arrive on campus something else happens... Oh well, good luck to these 2 very good football players...
  10. Josh Smith -- Frankfort High-- Johnson C. Smith in Charlotte North Carolina
  11. this is kinda brought up in another thread but what about West Jessamine and Hammonds...... had only 1 returning player with varsity experience....
  12. Who has done the best job in the 12th this year..... Seems as if West is coming along pretty well considering that they only had 1 returning player with varsity experience and a new coach. Is their coach for real...... Can this team compete for a trip to Rupp??????
  13. Tall Trees you might be pushing the buttons a little quick......let them get a few games going before we have them doing anything like that..... besides, there own District will be tough with Trimble.....We will discuss them on down the road though.
  14. How long was this job posted.....
  15. Looks as if West Jessamine has ben playing pretty well under the new coaching change. What does everyone think???? How has Hammonds done in the people of Nicholasville eyes. I think Hammonds is a solid coach who has done very well everywhere he has been.
  16. True, why such hard feelings towards FHS......... This should be an exciting and great high school football game....
  17. Don't think that will happen, should move into the top 10, but not to #3. Where???
  18. Frankfort's EJ Fields (Junior QB/DB) had over 190 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns in Frankfort's win over #1 ranked Danville. Pretty impressive.
  19. Meant the AP Poll sorry about that. Not the rating the state.
  20. In Class A what does Frankfort have to do to get in the top 10. They have 2 losses (both to 3A schools), have beaten every other team pretty easily. They obviously have a big game this week against Danville, does a win move them in, does a loss drop them farther down????
  21. So the play near the end of the game where Frankfort's Robinson was KICKED in the chin by a member of the Carroll team should be just over looked and the Frankfort coaching staff should not have worried about one of their players getting hurt. I guess they should have been focusing on Danville during the Carroll game and not worrying about Carroll. That may be the dumbest comment I have seen in a while. During a game the staff should only be focusing on that particular team and not the upcoming opponents. I would be angry with the Frankfort staff if I had a son playing and the staff wasn't trying to take care of my boy.
  22. Antoine Robinson, Frankfort High. Senior Running Back, 5'8 205, had 7 carries for 202 yards, 3 TD's in 2 quarters in Frankfort's win over Garrard County.
  23. I don't think that Harrison or Lex. Catholic is the only team that cuts/chops whatever you want to call it. There are teams everywhere doing it and getting away with it, so to call someone out?????????
  24. Word on the street is that Trumbo (QB) has been out all week with Asthsma, any one know how true that may or may not be. Could that make a difference.
