What is the word on the Franklin County Quarterback's College options?

Don't know if I'm right or not, but I read in a thread he may visit Georgetown College

Petrino is headed to Georgetown, how will this affect Ammons?

WLEX said Georgetown was getting both Ammons and Petrino.

Edwards and Lewis both have offers from G-town also. From what I understand, both of them have several offers. G-town, Cumberlands, Morehead, Kentucky Weslyan, and Catawba College are the names I have heard. Good luck fellas where ever you choose.

Well Petrino will be the QB. I can't see Ammons really being a QB in college he will be a DB. This is a great thing for Georgetown though. They recruit very well.

I don't think Kaelin Ammons has any back down in him, but I would think he will compete as a defensive back at Georgetown....not at quarterback.

 

He is a warrior and a great leader, but I never felt he had a great future as a Division I quarterback.

 

He made a wise choice, in my opinion.

What did the coaching staff at G-town tell these two.... Will they be competing for the QB spot..... One of the 2 will not be playing QB, and I don't see Petrino being able to play any other position, so that leaves Ammons to switch spots.... Just curious as to what they were told.... we all know it is a college business and sometimes kids are told/promised things and when they arrive on campus something else happens... Oh well, good luck to these 2 very good football players...
