Kaelin Ammons....Any College Offers?

Featured Replies

The great thing about Ammons is he is a team player. He will compete at QB, but will play whatever position is best for the team. He wants to win. You may not want to count him out at QB. He has competition and that makes a young man work harder to achieve his goals.

I think Ammons is the better of the two Qbs. I might have to go see a Georgetown game if they continue this kind of recruiting.

Ammons is the better QB. He has the size, the speed, the work ethic, and the character to be a very good QB at Georgetown College. He will be a great fit for their offense.

As for who is the better quarterback, this will all play out on the practice field at Georgetown College.

I agree that Kaelin Ammons has the speed, the work ethic, and the character to be a very good college quarterback, but you must remember, both he and Dominic Petrino are going to Georgetown College because they both lacked the size to play at a higher level. At least that is what a Division I coach would tell you.

My opinion: Petrino has a stronger arm, a vast knowledge of the game, and a father who is an NFL coach (if you think that is not a factor, you are mistaken)..........he will play quarterback at Georgetown before Ammons will.

I disagree, and yes we will see.I do not think Nick has a stronger arm and Ammons is 3 inches taller, correct?:thumb:

Well it is a true shame if having a daddy in the NFL and all that good stuff lets him play over Ammons at QB. If he is better that is one thing. I belive Ammons is better, has a stronger arm, is 3 inches taller, and etc... But the bottom line is Ammons will be a better player at Georgetown period. whether it is on defense, special teams or whatever. What else has Petrino done in the last 2 years other than QB?

I will always be a fan of his. He absolutely loves to compete and is the ultimate team player. I truly believe that he has never cared about statistics, only about doing anything possible to get the team a win.

He will be on the field somewhere helping Georgetown win ball games.

But don't count him out at QB, as I said he lives to compete.

Does Petrino need to do anything other than throw for 3,000+ yards and 20+ Td's? I also think he lead his team to not 1 but 2 4A State Championships.
